And now, the slits are near; And so I face the final decision. My friend, I'll say it clear, I'll state my outcome, a wave or particle. I've lived a quantum life. I've traveled almost at the speed of light; And more, much more than this, I did it my quantum way. Interactions, I've had a few; But they all were electromagnetic. I did what I had to do And it was governed by my electric nature I didn't plan each trajectory; The infinite possible paths to take, And more, much more than this, I did it my quantum way. Yes, there were time, my energy When it was not well defined. But through it all, when there was a probability I ate it up and split into them. I faced them all and stood till measured; And did it the quantum way I've accelerated, I've collided. I've emitted my photons; energy losing. And now, as I get to the two slits I find it so amusing. To think I'll pass through both And may I say - not in a classical way, "Oh no, oh no not me, I did it the quantum way". For what is an electron, what properties has he got? If not a marble, then he is a wave. To do the things he truly has to; And not the words of the quantum physicist. The measurements show, he took both slits. Yes, it was my quantum way.
